Silver Skies Hitchhiker Shawl Project

Another project from my Fiber Fest purchases.  For this project, I chose to use an art batt of Merino & Silk that I purchased from the Trading Post for Fiber Arts and the Hitchhiker Shawl Pattern from Martina Behm.  I purchased the pattern on her page in Ravelry.

I had a lot of fun spinning this wool.  The Merino and Silk blend was so soft and very easy to draft, making it my best looking yarn so far.  Knitting with it is a dream.  The colors really pop in the knitting so you can see bits of blue and pink in the silver.  This is by far my favorite project from beginning to end.
